Christopher Jion - Abnormal Play for Collapsing Mentality Ref: DF02-

7" (marbled vinyl. hand numbered)

This is a mean record. Negative! Negative!! Negative!!!  "Metal Skin Panic" is the noisiest horrifyingly violent splatterbreak-noisecore around. And "Abnormal Play For Collapsing Mentality" is darker, colder, & more lonely than the deepest, blackest frozen sea.
Recorded in 2001 and kept from the world until now. The red you see on the cover art is Christopher Jion's blood & bone-plasma!  Smeared on paper & scanned in soon after returning from the emergency room. (the super-limited test pressing version had his REAL blood on a permanently sealed sleeve)

Noise side: Metal Skin Panic Ambient side:  Abnormal Play For Collapsing Mentality.

601 Presents... Static Drum Sound Label Compilation Vol.1 Ref: StaticDrumSound001

Static Drum Sound was born in mid 2005 as an expression of the great music and artists that represented the New york underground electronic music scene. each artists contributes their own special touch often twisting genres around to meet their tastes. Label owner Claudiu Anghel aka 601 from the DHR 'Don't Fuck With U.S." comp had been working on tracks for over 8 years and felt it was time to release the music he and his fellow artists had produced and truly believed in. Twisting the sounds of Breakcore, Rythmic Noise, Lo-fi Hip Hop, Dubstep and Drum n Bass the compialtion offers alot of diversity and never grows stale or formulaic. Seeing that electronic music is the only music with a truly punk attitude that never adheres to coventiional rules the music by these artists is who and what they are.Working along side Brett Petersel from Architecture records, SDS looks to grow and expand in 2006 to bring even more fucked up sonic bass bombs. Watch this space!

Foucault Loves Disco - Theme Ref: FDMCD001/FD001

FOUCAULT LOVES DISCO is a project by young British producer Mike Devine and his friend DJ Dee. "This is our first proper release", says Mike, "although we had a couple of white labels out before. This EP shows where we 're coming from: Hard Disco House and the true roots of Detroit Techno. In the beginning the scene was more united than today. We think it was probably more exciting then. You could see House DJs spinning in the same clubs as Techno DJs. We want to confuse the purists with our records. We are not working in clubs so much anymore. We've been concentrating on writing music since the new millennium began!"

1. Theme
2. DJ Edit
3. Forward
4. French Connection
