Since unleashing Radioactive Man's debut on an ill-prepared public, Keith Tenniswood has gone rom strength-to-strength bith as part of Two Lone Swordsmen and as Radioactive Man. Grab a piece of history here. The original, the best.
Radioactive Man takes electro as a blueprint, and makes it his own. 'Booby Trap' takes the template laid down on 'Radioactiveman', and runs with it. A mish-mash of dry drum machines, squidy synths, grimy B-lines, off the wall samples, insectoid noises, sweet melodies, floor-rocking electro beats and old school breakbeat bizniz. Sorry, this product is temporarily out of stock. Price: £10.00
"Booby Trap"'s closer, featuring Valerie from Morr Music's beautiful Lali Puna. Perhaps the album's most advernturous tracks, with a more 'traditional' song structure, melancholic chords and almost live sounding drums. With a killer mix from Andrew Weatherall, and instrumental and a remix of "'Ave That". Bonus track on the CD-EP too!
From the surging bass rush of "Av That" to the diabolical rumble of "You Can't Catch Me" the EP demonstrates Tenniswood's mastery of his many electronic dancefloor monster techniques. He does rave inflections, metallic percussion, the patented underwater electro sound and itıs all in perfect working order, as usual. Vinyl is now deleted. 1. Av That 2. Basick Element 3. Nightbus To Nowhere 4. You Canıt Catch Me. Price: £5.00
RGC OG Brother T dons the mask and cape of his alter-ego Radioactive Man for a four-track EP that goes right to the core of the reactor. Radioactive Man likes crashing the odd wagon, Foundry work and super-strong booze.
